Crofton Design is lined up alongside rock music legends Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac who once played at the Railway Pub in West End Lane, West Hampstead, London, NW6.

However, Crofton’s gig is undertaking the mechanical & electrical engineering design to convert the upper floors into six residential flats and office space.

The design project includes lighting, power, heating, cooling and ventilation for the flats and separation of services in the pub with installation of decorative lighting, public address, audio visual systems, IT and back of bar services.

Barry Henson, Building Services Director at Crofton, says: “It is strange that we are following in the footsteps of some of rock music’s greats but time moves on and we are helping to provide a new use for the upper floors and to ensure that the pub’s services are keeping up with the times.”

The scheme is due for completion in the Spring of 2016 developer is First Urban and the architect on the project is Cornish Architects.
