420 luxury residential flats in Hammersmith on behalf of prestigious developer St George West London. Featuring a new energy centre with district heating network designed using BIM.

Multiuse development, 220 luxury apartments, leisure centre, business suite and retail units. 

Barrow Hedges Primary School, (2013-2016) Contract Value: £2 million
Thermal modelling and leading MEP services design.

Major refurbishment of the office space

King’s Cross Station, London (2008 – 2012) Contract value: £50-60 million
Ticket hall and first class lounge. With major remodeling of the site, King’s Cross was transformed, extending to 3 times its original size. 

St. Anthony’s Primary School, Dulwich (2011 – 2013) Contract Value: £3.5 million
BIM modeling for this primary school expansion, 

Great Dixter House, East Sussex (2010 – 2012) Contract Value: £3.2 million 
Great Dixter Estate included the design of a ground source heat pump and biomass boiler.

Professional Experience

When Crofton was still in its infancy, Richard was the company’s first undergraduate engineer.

He completed an industrial placement as part of his BEng (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University and since graduating, Richard returned to Crofton as a Mechanical Engineer and has subsequently worked his way up to Director in the company.

He has a keen interest in sustainability and zero/low carbon issues, which he has used to assist in the development of the company’s BIM procedures.
